Bangalored! - The Prologue

Amazing journey of an ordinary MBA in not so premiere Bangalore college

{Part 1}

The Prologue.

MBA in India
Sagar, protagonist in our story with not so heroic background, who is not going to study in IIMs or IITs, who is not going to make it large in life but is a simple, happy-go-lucky person, not less than a boy-next door in Delhi, has recently completed his engineering from a private university in Noida.

It was the last day of his engineering life, he did not expected that his best period in his life was about to take a hair-pin bend turn as his three and half year relation with Preethi came to an end as they broke-up or rather she dumped him as she is all set to go to states of America for her MS, while Sagar also tried his hand in all sorts of further education- entrance examinations in vain, only decent performance is his more than 50 percentile in CAT, Preethi is modern metro girl who practically ended the relation as she did not wanted to take the pain of long distance or farthest distance relation in to her dreamland.

Sagar went in to hibernation and shut the door and nonchalantly started browsing actress wallpapers on some 'Santa Fanta' or similarly sounding website, thanks to Google ads an ad attracted his attention and featured a not so attractive tier-3 MBA college as appealing as IIM. Sagar's fancy CAT percentile flashed before his eyes and this college seemed to be a perfect fit for his otherwise imperfect score.

After three weeks he attended the selection process for the Bangalore based college in a hotel in Karol bagh, Sagar expected a rigorous Group discussion and Personal Interview session and a massive gathering of MBA aspirants, much to his disbelief there were some handful guys and a nonchalant interview. Sagar was confused whether to feel happy that there are no obstacles for his management education or feel sad to land in a soup.

As Sagar reached Bangalore on the college commencement date, he was not alone but he was carrying a huge cloud over his head, with lot of expectations, his recent relationship complexity and his no knowledge about this place in south India.
Sagar is blessed with two southees as his roomies, Ravi, the one from Hyderabad, who believes himself not less than Hyderabadi nawab and another one from Tamil land, Cheran who is a conventional Tamil guy with neatly combed-oiled hair who think that ogling at girls is a great sin.

Amongst all these complexities, weird (in Sagar's view) roommates, his single status and the other side of the country with not so pleasant surprises, can Sagar survive the mad rush of Bangalore and so called management education in not so well managed MBA college.
